The Association has a number of paid positions available for suitable qualified people. These roles are, generally, part-time in nature and usually follow the school terms.
CYCLE Co-ordinator
The CYCLE Co-ordinator must hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, strong Playcentre philosophy and good knowledge of three to five year olds.

Session Support and Child Support Workers
You will hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, and have strong Playcentre philosophy.
Other attributes would include:
- Be friendly and approachable.
- Be able to role-model 'The Playcentre Way'.
- Previous experience with multiple Playcentre officer roles.
- Ability to lead Course One discussions.
- Available to assist Playcentre officers with their roles.
- Hold a current first aid certificate.
Liaison Field Officer (L.F.O)
You will hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, and have strong Playcentre philosophy.
Other attributes would include:
- Be friendly and approachable.
- Previous experience with multiple Playcentre officer roles.
- Able to attend Playcentre meetings when required.
- Visit Playcentre each term for Centre Checks and Supervision Approvals.
Workshop facilitators
You will hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, have completed the 'Leaders and Commenters' workshop, and have strong Playcentre philosophy.
Other attributes would include:
- Be friendly and approachable.
- Be able to role-model 'The Playcentre Way'.
- Previous experience with multiple Playcentre officer roles.
SPACE facilitators
You will hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, have completed the 'Leaders and Commenters' workshop, and have strong Playcentre philosophy.
Other attributes would include:
- Be friendly and approachable.
- Be able to role-model 'The Playcentre Way'.
- Previous experience with multiple Playcentre officer roles.
- Hold a current first aid certificate.
Commenters
You will hold Playcentre Course Three or above, have a firm commitment to Tiriti O Waitangi, have completed the 'Leaders and Commenters' workshop, and have strong Playcentre philosophy.
Commenting is undertaken at home at a time that suits you.
